TODAY WE HONOR WITH GREAT REVERENCE THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO LOST THEIR LIVES SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

September 11, 2004

To these great American heroes, their families, friends, loved ones and to all Americans, I wish to express my profound gratitude and deepest respect.

You showed us by living example what bravery and courage really are.

There are no words to express our sorrow for your loss, except to say our most profound thank you for your shining example of greatness and goodness, and to commit to you that for all time forward we will remember with great reverence your valor and service to our great nation.

Sincerely,
Dr. Gail Lese

July 4, 2004

Dear Friends,

Today is a profoundly important national celebration of what it means to be free. America is the greatest nation on earth, and today we celebrate with great pride our democracy and ideals.

Our nation was founded on the bedrock principle that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people. Our nation’s founders risked their lives to protect our liberty.

On this extremely important day, may we all take a moment to give thanks for our freedom that our fellow citizens have fought for and worked to uphold over the past 228 years of our nation’s history.

I want to wish all of you and your families the very best on this July 4th.

Sincerely,
Dr. Gail Lese

TODAY WE REMEMBER
WITH GREAT REVERENCE
A GREAT AMERICAN

June 11, 2004

Today we join the nation and the world in the celebration of the life of President Ronald Reagan. His courage and leadership is a beacon to all Americans, and on this day, and on all days, we hold Nancy, his family, and every American, his true extended family, in our thoughts and prayers.

President Reagan truly lived by example. He personified a pride in America, a legacy of service, and a torch of ideals that touched America's heart and lifted its pride. He gave us hope, lifted our hearts, and championed our dreams.

He showed us that public service is about commitment and devotion to the service of others. President Reagan personified the ideal that elected office should be about public service, not self service. He united us under his leadership, and today our nation stands united in mourning the passing of a great American.

We all stand forever in your debt, President Reagan, and thank you for your brave and distinguished service to our country.

Sincerely,
Dr. Gail Lese

Your valor and commitment to our freedom for which you are willing to pay the ultimate price and to give up so much must be honored with the highest respect.
